No-Fat Chocolate Angel Food Cake and Glaze
Ingredients
- Cake Ingredients
- 1/3 cup Sue Bee® Honey
- 1 angel food cake mix, any brand
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 3/4 cup water
- Glaze Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract or flavoring
Directions
- Mix all ingredients together on low speed for 30 seconds.
- Beat on high speed for another 2 minutes.
- Pour batter into ungreased angel food cake pan.
- Bake at 350 F for 35-45 minutes, or until top is browned and cracked. (Do not under bake.)
- Remove from oven and set upside-down.
- For the optional glaze, mix all glaze ingredients together until smooth.
