Honey Christmas Cookies

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup Sue Bee® Honey
  • 2 3/4 cup flour
  • 1/3 cup shortening
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon lemon extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • small amount colored sugar or sprinkles

Directions

  • Mix all ingredients.
  • Chill dough 2 to 3 hours.
  • Roll out dough and cut into desired shape with cookie cutter.
  • Sprinkle with colored sugar or sprinkles.
  • Bake at 375 F for 8 to 10 minutes.
