Zucchini Chocolate Cake

Follow this recipe to make your own Zucchini Chocolate Cake at home using delicious Sue Bee® honey!


Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup Sue Bee® Honey
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 cup cocoa
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup sour milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 2 cups zucchini, grated
  • Chocolate syrup (optional)

Directions

  • Mix oil, cinnamon, baking soda, baking powder, cocoa, flour and sugar together.
  • Stir in Sue Bee® honey, vanilla, eggs, sour milk, margarine and grated zucchini ingredients.
  • Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13 inch baking pan.
  • Bake 35-40 minutes at 325 F.
  • Allow cake to cool. Drizzle with chocolate syrup.
