Honey Orange Pumpkin Pie
Ingredients
- 2/3 cup Sue Bee® honey
- 1 pie crust
- 3/4 cup whipping cream
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cornstarch
- 2 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup frozen orange juice concentrate
- 3 eggs
- 1 15-oz can pumpkin
- 1/4 cup sour cream
Directions
- Preheat oven to 325 F.
- Roll out pie crust.
- Ease into pie plate.
- Trim and flute edges.
- Set aside.
- In a large bowl, mix Sue Bee® honey, pumpkin, eggs, orange juice concentrate, cinnamon, cornstarch, ginger and salt on low speed until combined.
- Mix in whipping cream and sour cream until combined.
- Pour into prepared crust.
- Bake at 325 F for 1 hour.
- If necessary, cover pie with foil to prevent over browning.
- Continue to bake for an additional 35-45 minutes or until center of pie is set.
