Honey Balsamic BBQ Sauce
We’re always looking for new ways to spruce up a classic pair – honey and barbecue. Try this tangy twist on your favorite proteins: meatballs, chicken or salmon!
1 cup balsamic vinegar
3/4 cup ketchup
1/2 cup Sue Bee® Clover Honey
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1/2 tsp garlic powder
salt and pepper
Optional: 1 – 3 tsp cayenne pepper for additional spice
Combine all ingredients in a saucepan, then stir to combine.
Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally.
Reduce heat and simmer for 45 minutes or until sauce is thick and has lost its vinegary bite, stirring every so often.
Store in an air-tight container in the refrigerator.
