Chipotle Honey Dipping Sauce


Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Sue Bee® Honey
  • 2 chipotle chiles
  • 1 tomato
  • 1/2 onion
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar

Directions

  • In a small saucepan, bring chiles, tomato, water, onion, garlic and salt to a boil and reduce to a simmer. Cook, slowly, covered for 15 minutes.
  • Puree mixture in a blender until smooth.
  • Stir in the Sue Bee® honey and vinegar.
  • Serve at room temperature as a dipping sauce with shrimp.
