Butter Pecan Pie Squares


Ingredients

Crust

  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/2 butter

Topping

  • 3/4 cup Sue Bee® Honey
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Directions

  • Combine flour and sugar in a medium bowl; add in butter with a pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse meal.
  • Press mixture evenly into a greased 9-inch square pan.
  • Bake at 375 F for 15 minutes.
  • Combine Sue Bee® honey, vanilla, butter, salt, flour, eggs and sugar; beat well.
  • Stir in pecans.
  • Pour filling over prepared crust.
  • Bake at 350 F for 25 minutes or until firm.
  • Let cool on a rack; cut into squares.
