Derek’s grandfather started his beekeeping business with 200 hives and, it has grown to more than 1,000 today. As a third-generation beekeeper with over 30 years of experience, he has fond memories of loading beehives into a truck by hand as a kid. He’s proud of his long heritage as an American beekeeper and looks forward to his son taking over someday.
