Butter Pecan Pie Squares
Ingredients
Crust
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 butter
Topping
- 3/4 cup Sue Bee® Honey
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 cup chopped pecans
Directions
- Combine flour and sugar in a medium bowl; add in butter with a pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse meal.
- Press mixture evenly into a greased 9-inch square pan.
- Bake at 375 F for 15 minutes.
- Combine Sue Bee® honey, vanilla, butter, salt, flour, eggs and sugar; beat well.
- Stir in pecans.
- Pour filling over prepared crust.
- Bake at 350 F for 25 minutes or until firm.
- Let cool on a rack; cut into squares.
