DIY Flower Vase

Use an empty Sue Bee® honey squeeze bear to create a do-it-yourself flower vase for your “honey” this Valentine’s Day!

What you’ll need:
– 1 empty Sue Bee® honey squeeze bear (12 oz. or larger)
– Spray paint (we chose pink)
– Scissors or an X-acto knife
– Construction paper or doilies for decorating
– Hot glue gun
– Black marker (optional)
– Flowers

Start by removing the labels from the empty Sue Bee® honey squeeze bear. Make sure the bottle is completely dry and remove the lid. Carefully coat the bear with spray paint following the instructions on the can. Let dry.

Open the lid and carefully punch holes around the lid using scissors or an X-acto knife. Remove the small ring of the lid so that the flowers can be placed through the hole.

Once the squeeze bear has dried, use the construction paper and/or doilies to create heart shapes and attach them to the bottle using the hot glue gun. Color in the eyes of the bear if you wish using a black marker.

Secure the lid to the top of the squeeze bear and leave it in the open position. Carefully place the flowers in the vase through the hole in the lid and voila! You’ve got yourself a DIY Flower Vase made from an empty bottle of Sue Bee® honey!
